Job Description

Charlotte Eye, Ear, Nose & Throat Associates (CEENTA) is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team.  This position will focus on the recruitment of non- physician team members and the further development of our ongoing candidate pipeline.


CEENTA was founded over 95 years ago and has grown to become one of the largest multispecialty practices of its kind on the East Coast.  Today CEENTA has more than 100 providers in nearly 20 locations across the Carolinas. CEENTA provides comprehensive pediatric and adult eye, ear, nose and throat care, and highly specialized care, too. These services include but are not limited to: audiology, allergy treatment, cataract surgery, cochlear implants, cornea diseases, diabetic eye care, glaucoma treatment, head and neck cancer, neuro-ophthalmology, oculoplastics, optical and contact lenses, pediatric airway care, sleep medicine, thyroid treatment, and voice and swallowing care.


Key Responsibilities:  

  • Developing, implementing, measuring, and adjusting as necessary a comprehensive talent acquisition plan;
  • Developing assessments, testing, and best practices to attract and retain team members;
  • Building candidate pool and name recognition through social media and other platforms;
  • Developing formalized Internship Program through partnerships with schools;
  • Working with HR team, develop career paths for positions;
  • Providing metrics and reporting to ensure the ongoing success of talent acquisition;
  • Partnering with the Learning and Development team and schools/universities to develop a curriculum and certification process for eye, ear, nose and throat positions.  Implementing same to ensure a specialized pipeline of continuous candidates;


  • Working with associations, schools/universities to enhance interest in eye, ear, nose and throat physician- and practice-support positions by highlighting company careers and related initiatives, and related responsibilities.

Job Requirements


Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Human Resources and Strategic Talent Acquisition (STA) certification or other recruitment or HR certification is a plus.  Must have proven competency in talent acquisition with 2-5 years’ experience, preferably with a healthcare company.

  • Problem Solving – Challenges can arise.  Talent acquisition has many moving parts that need to mesh to make a successful hire.  In this role, the Talent Acquisition Partner must be creative and determine how to make the right match come together by overcoming any variety of obstacles.
  • Negotiation Skills – The Talent Acquisition Partner is often in the position of mediator between candidate and company, negotiating with both sides to bring them into agreement and may act as a sounding board to provide feedback, ideas, and solutions. This position must be tuned into the true needs and desires of both sides, such that he/she understands the deliverables, and can champion a course of action that will achieve a win for all.
  • Brand Ambassador – Must have excellent communication and listening skills, and be an enthusiastic representative of the Company’s brand/job/team/and overall company. As the face of the company initially, this position must be well-versed, not only in the company and its product/service, but also in the hiring manager’s management style, business approach, and his/her team and the work environment.
  • Personal Ethics – Must have integrity and honesty.  Position acts as the face of the company.
  • Healthcare Sales Acumen –  Understand the needs, identify the right match, and compellingly sell the opportunity.  Ability to assist hiring managers with identifying the ideal talent profile needed for organizational effectiveness.
  • Accountability – Ability to set achievable expectations. This includes hiring process timing and requisites, as well as communication and feedback, and prioritization of requisites and effort.
  • Exemplary Detective Skills – Knowledge of the applicable healthcare areas and sector and ability to use the many tools and boards to source the best candidates often in difficult scenarios.
  • Understanding the Sector – Must know the technologies involved in the business sector. In order to identify the talent, specifically for passive candidates, and vet high potential candidates. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to understand the details while maintaining a large overview with the goal of achieving overall corporate goals.
  • Savvy Business Sense – Must understand the business, how the practices work, from external constraints to internal workings and use this to build a competitive edge in talent acquisition.
